Clamp principle

Clamp principle

In principle the clip consist of a base with two upstanding flexible arms. When the pipe is pushed into the clip the two arms are forced to move outwards and the pipe is clamped into the clip. The restraining clip is mounted over the two arm ends to assure a long term fixation of the pipe.

Due to relaxation of the stress in the arms of the clip the fixation force will reduce to a minimum.

In the long run the pipe clip will operate as a support bracket which prevents sideward movement and allows unrestricted axial pipe movement.
