Introduction Akasison L and XL

In smaller buildings a smaller pipe system can be used to drain the water from the roof. Smaller pipe systems have less pipe length and therefore less thermal expansion. Combine this with the lower expansion coefficient of the Akasison L material HPTP and the result is a roof drainage system that can be fixed less strict than the system made of HDPE used in Akasison XL. This saves on both material costs and installation time (large hidden cost). Ideal for smaller buildings.
Furthermore the HPTP pipe system can be jointed using solvent cement, which is a common practice jointing technique in many applications. Solvent cement joints can be made up to diameter 200 mm and are relatively quick to make compared to HDPE electrofusion joints, saving on installation time and electrofusion couplers used in Akasison XL. Also ideal for smaller buildings.

Akasison L is ideal for smaller roof surfaces. It is made of high performance thermoplastic (HPTP) and therefor has the well known green colour. Akasison L is available in pipe diameter of 40-200 mm. The jointing of this system can be done by solvent cement jointing. The connection to the roof outlets is flexible. Akasison L is a free moving pipe system.

Akasison XL is ideal for larger roof surfaces. It is made of High density polyethylene (HDPE) and has therefor the well known black colour. Akasison XL is available in pipe diameter of 40-315 mm. The jointing of this system can be done by electrofusion. The connection to the roof outlets is fixed. Akasison XL uses a rigid bracket installation.
