Akatherm is 'the home of specialist drainage'. Over 40 years of experience in drainage systems, focussing on innovation, quality and dedication: that is Akatherm. Our specialist drainage systems are suitable for applications in the commercial and industrial building sector.

Akatherm has always been a step ahead by being the first:

- successfully applying polyethylene (PE) for specialist drainage systems
- using an adapted (licensed) butt-welding method to fabricate reduced branches
- introducing a pull-tight plug-in ("snap") socket system applying a retaining ring/groove concept
- pioneering with electrofusion technology to complement butt-fusion jointing
- using large bore pipe systems for increased cost efficiency in siphonic roof drainage (Akasison)
- developing a dual containment concept (Akaplus) for maximum safety when draining aggressive fluids
- offering a universal electrofusion control box capable of welding the full range of (Akafusion)
  electrofusion couplers with one kit
- offering the possibility of simultaneously welding several electrofusion couplers in one welding cycle
- supplying large bore (Akavent) aerator fittings for single-stack drainage systems for high-rise buildings
